SMS Messaging Terms

1. Program Overview

The AcreTrail SMS program is an opt-in notification service operated by Coral Cove Software LLC for customers of farms using the AcreTrail platform. The program sends transactional SMS messages related to your farm orders, including order reminders, delivery updates, and occasional broadcast messages from the farm.

SMS messaging is entirely optional. You are not required to enable SMS to use AcreTrail.

2. How to Opt In

Customers opt in to SMS notifications from within their AcreTrail account. The opt-in process is as follows:

  1. Sign in to your AcreTrail account through your farm's portal (for example, yourfarm.acretrail.com) or through the AcreTrail mobile app.
  2. Navigate to your Profile page.
  3. Under Notification Channels (within the Order Reminders section), locate the SMS checkbox. This checkbox is unchecked by default and no SMS messages are sent unless you explicitly enable it.
  4. Review the consent disclosure shown directly beneath the SMS checkbox (reproduced verbatim in Section 3).
  5. Check the SMS box and tap Save to opt in.

Upon opt-in, you will immediately receive a confirmation SMS identifying the AcreTrail platform and reminding you that you can reply STOP to opt out at any time.

3. Consent Disclosure (Verbatim)

The following consent disclosure is displayed in the AcreTrail app directly below the SMS opt-in checkbox:

By enabling SMS, you consent to receive text messages from AcreTrail including order reminders and farm updates. Approx. 10 msgs/month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Terms & Privacy Policy

The words "Terms" and "Privacy Policy" in the disclosure are clickable links to acretrail.com/terms.html and acretrail.com/privacy.html.

4. Types of Messages

When you opt in, you may receive the following types of transactional SMS messages:

  • Order reminders: Reminders to submit your order before the delivery cutoff.
  • Order confirmations: Confirmation that your order has been received.
  • Delivery updates: Notifications about delivery status, including running late or arrived.
  • Pickup reminders: Reminders that your order is ready for pickup at the scheduled location and time.
  • Farm broadcasts: Occasional messages from your farm about that week's products or schedule changes.

5. Message Frequency

You can expect approximately 10 messages per month, varying based on your farm's delivery schedule and the messages your farm chooses to send.

6. Pricing

AcreTrail does not charge for SMS messages. However, message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Contact your carrier if you have questions about your messaging plan.

7. How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time using either of these methods:

  • Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from AcreTrail.
  • Sign in to your AcreTrail account and uncheck the SMS box on the Profile page.

After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation SMS and will not receive any further messages. You may opt back in at any time by replying START or by re-enabling the SMS box in your profile.

8. Help (HELP)

For help with AcreTrail SMS, reply HELP to any message, or contact contact@acretrail.com.

9. Supported Carriers

The AcreTrail SMS program is supported on all major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Privacy

Your phone number and SMS opt-in status are stored only as part of your AcreTrail account. We do not sell or share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details about how we handle your data.
