Coral Cove Software (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the AcreTrail platform, including the website at acretrail.com and the AcreTrail mobile application (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

We collect the following types of information when you use our Service:

• Account information: Your name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
• Order information: Products you order, quantities, delivery dates, and pickup locations.
• Payment information: Payment details are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
• Communication preferences: Your notification preferences, including whether you opt in to receive SMS messages, push notifications, or email notifications.
• Device information: Device type, operating system, and push notification tokens when you use our mobile app.
• Usage data: Basic analytics about how you interact with the Service, such as pages visited and features used.
• Diagnostic data: We collect your app version, build number, and platform on each authenticated launch for diagnostic and support purposes.

3. Analytics and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website to understand how visitors use the Service so we can improve it. Specifically:

• Google Analytics 4: Measures aggregate site usage (pages visited, traffic sources, conversion events). Data is collected via cookies and associated with an anonymous identifier, not your name or email.
• Microsoft Clarity: Records anonymized session interactions (clicks, scrolls, mouse movements) to help us identify usability issues. Form input fields, payment information, and other sensitive content are automatically masked and never recorded.
• Google Tag Manager: Loads the analytics tools above. Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data; it only manages which scripts run on the site.

You can opt out of these analytics services using:

• Your browser’s built-in cookie controls or “Do Not Track” setting
• The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
• The Microsoft Clarity opt-out form

We do not use these tools to share data with advertising networks or sell your information.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• With your farm: The farm you order from can see your name, contact information, and order details to fulfill your orders.
• Service providers: We use trusted third-party services that process data on our behalf to operate and improve the Service: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Firebase (hosting and authentication), Formspree (contact form submissions), Google (Analytics and Tag Manager), and Microsoft (Clarity session analytics). These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), authentication is managed through Firebase Authentication, and payment processing is handled by Stripe’s PCI-compliant infrastructure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

8. Your Choices

• Notification preferences: You can manage your email, push, and SMS notification preferences in your customer profile within the app.
• SMS opt-out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message or by updating your notification preferences in the app.
• Analytics opt-out: You can disable website analytics using your browser settings or the opt-out tools listed in Section 3.
• Account deletion: You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at contact@acretrail.com.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date above.
